Resigned, this time for good. I didn't enjoy my time as staff much, it's not as amazing as some of you think it really is. If you're wanting to apply for staff, give it a shot and see if you like it, it was fun at first but overtime it just got worse and I realized things that I didn't like seeing within staff. Mineplex as a whole is on its knees and slowly fading away, player count continues to drop every month (stats prove so), money focused updates and never ending sales show that Mineplex is a business more than anything, the fun of the server has fallen into greed and it's all about money which is quite sad to see. Other big networks that are in competition with Mineplex are now leading ahead of Mineplex in player count, development and user satisfaction! Which also kind of explains the subtle copying of other server designs and games. SR MOD isn't a rank you gain through hard work and time devotion through the staff team which really confuses me as the rank is 'Senior' Mod. Not much recognition or compassion is given to the 300+ volunteers that put in countless hours every month to make Mineplex tick over and keep generating income, which is upsetting because without the 300+ staff, Mineplex wouldn't last long. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people on the staff team that are genuine and care but then again many of the higher ups couldn't care less about you or how you're doing as a staff member. There will be both players and staff members that will defend Mineplex in any situation, I don't see why you defend a money hungry business that pulls in literally millions from children. I'll still play Mineplex once in a while but I was told in August last year that Mineplex is going downhill, one year later and it still is, the statistics prove so. I really couldn't care less if you disagree with me, it's business in the end of the day, but it's dirty business. To any current staff reading this, please take a moment to think 'Could I be spending my spare time working a part time job making money and getting experience instead of Mineplex?', 'is Mineplex affecting my socialization with family and friends my age?'. Don't feel like you have to stay as staff, in the end it doesn't benefit your life in any way, you will be much happier spending time with people in real life and making the most of the time as a young person. It's really upsetting to see Admins pick and choose staff to join their team based off personal thoughts rather than experience and staff commitment. If you do some searching you can find 30+ staff that have left in the past 18 months based off favoritism, drama and overall bad practice within the staff team, there's clearly some issues and nothing is being resolved.
