Communities rights over 'Profiles'

Hey,

So I've been around on Enjin for a couple years now and this is something that I'm starting to notice become more regular throughout communities (Mostly Minecraft servers). That a staff member sees or is reported to about Enjin user breaking rules for a certain community or server, then taking the servers normal punishments and requirements against that user.

For example recently a Mineplex staff temp-banned a Enjin user and registered Mineplex user for posting a short paragraph about the lack of maturity in Mineplex's community, I don't know if the problem has been resolved but to be honest it's something that works both ways. If a person was to break the servers rules whether it be IG or on the forums then the servers management should be allowed to ban the person or at least give them the punishment, but when they're posting opinions or arguing with other 'Enjin' users, the servers management / staff still has the right to punish you accordingly.

Now I can see why users would be somewhat 'angry' but it's also the servers right to ban / mute any player that they wish, even if its abusive the servers owners have the permission and ranks to do so. Most large servers like Mineplex, Minecade, The Nexus and many more that use Enjin's services normally have a T&C (Terms and Conditions) that state "whether a person is to donate or if they're just a registered user that the owners and higher staff members have permission to punish anyone accordingly". The writing may differ but its regularly close or around that.

So summing it up, being banned from a community or server has no affect or obligation to "Enjin", Yeah I'm not a Staff Member and Enjin might react to this with new T&C's / Rules but going of whats been happening for the last couple years, if a server decides to remove you from there community or punish you for doing something outside their server. Then its there decision, and they have the right to do so.

Thoughts?

It is simply enjin does not get involved with websites or users unless they violate the Terms of Service. Owners have the right to punish anyone on their website. If a user is breaking the enjin ToS (http://www.enjin.com/terms) then you can report then with valid evidence.

Hello there! Enjin is not responsible with any conflicts that occur within other communities. If you strongly believe that any activity violates the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you can always submit a Support Ticket in regards to the issue.
