I've been kind of wondering this but why does every idiot on COD think that snipers are for "quick scoping" I mean seriously you never see people in the actual military doing that especially snipers yelling out things like " OH MAN DID YOU SEE ME QUICK SCOPE THAT TERRORIST!" NO! you don't see that because one they are'nt that retarded to give out their position and two quickscoping in real life is impossible and down right stupid that goes for in game as well snipers are meant for long range marksmanship looking down the scope and picking targets off with precision not seeing how many rounds you can fire before you finally hit someone so all you whiney little kids complaining about "Hard Scopers" and how many there are think of it this way they are actually using the sniper the way it was meant for and most likely they are gonna get more kills then you will if you just blind fire rounds trying to trickshot or quickscope people if you are gonna do that crap take it to a private lobby cause people don't wanna hear all your complaining.

idealistically in reality you wouldnt even need to quick scope, just use the iron sights below the scope, duh.
Well its pretty obvious that this person has never used a scope before...sorry to burst your bubble but there are no iron sights usable when a scope is mounted on a rail. It would be like paintballing, but with live rounds and a 10lb+ rifle...
I love the comment about the title should be "Call of Halo". I have the same opinion, a large majority of CoD players will just play CoD like Halo. (Even if they've never played Halo before.) CoD has iron sights and sight attachments which allow players to shoot accurately but too many people will just "Spray n Pray" with Hip-Firing or will scroll left and right or in circles until they kill you or empty their clip. I also dislike "QuickScoping" for the same reason, it is an insult to sniper rifles. The sad thing is, IW cares more about making money then about making a balanced game. I miss CoD 4 MW dearly. (Too many hackers on it now though.) :'(
Back during Counterstrike 1.3, I would stick a piece of tape on the middle of my screen when I used the AWP. People watching me thought I was cheating due to my constant no scoping :\.

I had also put tape on my screen only for GTA4 though, If i still had an xbox I would challenge anyone here and give them $100 if they could beat me in a dog fight(before the hacks) thumbup
what i think would help get rid of all these quick scopers is if they make cod so you have to take bullet drop and all the physics into account with a sniper and all the weapons
