Go to Site Editor/ Themes
Click on My licensed Layouts
Find the layout you're using (or find one you want to use)
You'll see Use | Edit | Fave
Click Edit - This will create a new customizable theme. Note that if you're on the Advanced plan you get 2 slots for a customized theme that auto saves as you work on it. On the Ultimate plan you have access to unlimited save files.
You'll see the theme editor bar appear above
Website background / Background image 1 / click on the image link to upload your own!
Please note you need to be on a paid plan to access the theme editor.
Generally the best size for a background is min 1024 height and 1200 width, It depends on the resolution of the monitor it's being viewed on, so generally keep it as that or wider/longer so that the best parts are viewable on both small/large monitors.
