We’re happy to announce our partnership with 4Kings; one of the top e-sports organizations in the world. Their players are currently professionally competing in Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Bloodline Champions, and Quake Live.

It’s a big one! Forum Post Voting & Auto Moderation System

We are really excited about this major forum update and we can’t wait to hear what you guys think! This update packs some nice features. Forum Karma, post likes and automatic moderation. Let’s get straight into the details:

Upvote or Downvote posts

Forum posts can now be voted up or down.
An up and down icon appears for every post.
A user can only rate each post once.
Each time you rate a post you affect that poster's karma or points.
The post author gains 1 point for each upvote and loses 1 point for each downvote
A post can have a positive or negative rating.

View who liked posts

If a user votes a post up, then they are deemed to have liked it.
The post will display a list of user avatars in a grid fashion that liked the post.
This is great way to show that you liked the post without having to post a reply.

Automatic moderation of posts & threads

Empower the community to moderate the forums.
Set to Hide posts after a specific number of downvotes. Post will collapse but can be expanded.
Set to Delete posts after a specific number of downvotes.
Admins will still see deleted posts and have the option to revive them.
Admins can reset votes and un-hide posts.

Accumulate points, increase user participation

Users will start accumulation points based on their post history and likes.
Helps in finding new mods or trusted community members.
Find trouble makers and spammers.
Total points are displayed under the post count and also on the avatar hover.

Customize your rating system

Enable or disable voting per forum.
Select who can vote on posts per forum.
Customize the word "votes” to something else, for example "head shots”
Set if admin posts can be down voted or only liked.

Another Small update: Perm Link to posts
A little icon now appears in the bottom left of the post. Clicking this will provide a perm link to this post.

The following features for forum votes are coming in days!

Disable down voting on posts
Set who can up vote posts per forum
Set who can down vote posts per forum
